About us

Where It All Started

In 2022, we welcomed Rylee, our striking red Poodle, into our lives. Rylee was carefully imported from Wisconsin, USA, chosen for his excellent lineage, intelligence, and calm, affectionate temperament. Poodles are renowned worldwide for their exceptional intelligence, trainability, and hypoallergenic coats—qualities that make them ideal companions and foundational to the Goldendoodle breed.

The following year, in 2023, our family grew again when we adopted two beautiful Golden Retrievers, Mila and Nala. Both girls come from guide dog bloodlines, with parents bred specifically for temperament, stability, and soundness. True to their heritage, Mila and Nala embody everything the Golden Retriever is loved for: gentle, loyal, playful, and wonderfully affectionate, with that unmistakable warm and patient nature that makes Goldens such outstanding family dogs.

The Dream of Goldendoodles

For years, we had dreamed of breeding Goldendoodles—a breed admired for combining the very best traits of both Poodles and Golden Retrievers. The Goldendoodle is a highly affectionate, people-oriented companion dog, bred intentionally for intelligence, temperament, and adaptability. With the Poodle’s sharp mind and low-shedding coat paired with the Golden Retriever’s friendly, loyal, and emotionally intuitive nature, Goldendoodles are known for being deeply bonded to their families and eager to please.

They thrive on human interaction and do best in homes where they are included in everyday life. Known for their patience with children, sociable personalities, and emotional sensitivity, Goldendoodles make exceptional family dogs. They are playful yet calm, equally happy enjoying outdoor adventures or curling up for quiet cuddle time at home.

When Mila, Nala, and Raylee came into our lives, we knew the time had finally come to turn that dream into reality.

Health First, Always

Responsible breeding starts with health. Before any breeding decisions were made, our dogs underwent thorough hip and elbow assessments, along with comprehensive health and genetic testing. At Auri Goldendoodles, we are deeply committed to only breeding dogs who are in excellent physical condition, ensuring the healthiest possible start for every puppy we bring into the world.

While this journey brought excitement, it also required difficult decisions. Unfortunately, Nala’s results did not meet our very high breeding standards, and as much as we adore her, she was not approved to continue in the breeding program. Her wellbeing always comes first, and she remains a cherished member of our family.

Mila, however, achieved exceptional results. After final veterinary approval, we were thrilled to carefully plan her introduction to Raylee—marking a truly special milestone for us.

Our program

We specialize in ethically breeding the ideal family pet by looking at the following aspects;

Health Testing

All our dogs undergo health and genetic testing to ensure they are ready for breeding. We commit to only breeding our dogs when they are in tip-top shape and condition to ensure the healthiest puppies.

Family Pets

We despise unethical breeding and promise to provide each breeding pet a loving home. Our dogs are emotional beings that need love, a lot of attention, walks, lazy days on a couch and chasing a ball. For this reason, we make use of our Guardian Program. Our puppies are raised in our homes between our kids, sounds, different flooring and stairs, with cuddles in bed, grass to run on, sunlight and toys.

Home Placement

We love and care for every single dog in our program, from our retired dams and sires to each newborn puppy. We strive to send each puppy to the perfect fitting family. A puppy that will instinctively fit into your family life and home.

Why Hybrids?

Breed diversification truly produces the healthiest dogs, and science supports this. Our dogs pass all genetic and health testing before breeding. Purebred dogs often develop breed-related illnesses and health problems such as cancers, hip dysplasia, and heart problems, often shortening their lifespan. To genetically diversify the gene pool and breeds, we ensure a much healthier offspring with a longer lifespan.
